Website Feedback

As some of our visitors and supporters will know, our new Action on Depression website was launched in June 2011.   A lot has been achieved in the last 10 months, but we have lots of ideas and plans for our future development of the site and we would love to involve everyone in this process.  As time permits it is our intention to develop more interactive facilities on the site with the main purpose for visitors and supporters to interact and involve themselves in creating content for the site, with comments and feedback.

Join us at Challenge Scotland!

Action on Depression has just become an affiliated charity for the annual Challenge Scotland event. We expect to be there in numbers raising money and awareness, and would be delighted to be joined by as many fundraisers as possible. We plan to meet up as a group before the event starts, and hopefully at the end of the day to celebrate our success! More info on times and places in the near future.

Enabling older people in Edinburgh to enhance their emotional well-being

We were really pleased to announce that we’d been awarded funding from the Edinburgh Change Innovation Fund for support towards our work with older people aged 65 plus and their carers in Edinburgh from April 2011. We’re really excited about benefiting from this new fund which will enable us to have a greater focus in providing support to this important group.

Site Feedback Quote

Coming back from the New Year is always a busy time; trying to catch up with emails having arrived during the holidays and phone messages.  Imagine our surprise to read such a lovely email from someone who not only wants to volunteer with us, but felt that our website had provided much needed help and information.  She goes on to say..
