Action on Depression are a small team of six part-time and one full-time members of staff. We have two vacancies at the moment and if you would like to be kept informed of any further opportunities please register for our e-bulletin where we publicise opportunities as they become available.
We currently have vacancies for:
Head of operations (Maternity cover, 8 months)
Part-time post 21 hours per week.
£28,000 FTE or £16,800 per annum for 0.6 FTE
- The post holder will lead on overseeing the day to day operations of the charity during a defined period of maternity cover. Responsibilities include staff leadership and management and administration of the organisation in the delivery and development of services for people affected by depression across Scotland.
- The successful applicant will have a proven background in managing and supporting services at a senior level. This may be within health, social work, education or the third sector. AoD will also consider a secondment opportunity for this role.

Fundraising and Marketing Officer
Full-time post 35 hours per week.
Salary £19,830
- The main purpose of this role is to increase the financial contributions of individuals and groups to Action on Depression by building relationships and exploring new fundraising opportunities across Scotland and the UK as appropriate.
- The successful candidate will have at least one years solid experience in a sales, fundraising or marketing role in which creating opportunities or winning new clients was a key component. Experience of engaging in fundraising activities, preferably within a charitable organisation is also required.
